I was dropping by Droks after finishing NF. I needed to get to Port Sledge and found a wammo who knew the way. When we got outta Droks, he spazzes on his keyboard and types: ekjgbdkwuevbfkjevbfrehvferhv and crap like that. i asked him why and he said "WHY THE F*CK IS THERE A HORSE IN THE PARTY???" Oh, I couldnt stop laughing...

I once indicated a group of monsters and yelled "PULL". about half the group promptly rushed it and aggroed three other groups. I was the only healer and had hung back expecting them to pull... It was a great teaching opportunity...once we were teleported back to the mission start area.

Kinda off-topic for this thread, but I actually had 2 very nice pug experiences yesterday. I'm going for my protector titles, so I'm going back over missions I've missed and trying for masters.

First, I went to Viznuah Square (foreign) and asked for a master's group. A lone monk invited me and we spent some time filling up the rest of the slots. 15-20 minutes later we had a full team and warped in. Our elementalist promptly asked how long til the Ele boss appeared. He said he wanted to cap Double Dragon. We told him there was no Ele boss here and he left.

2 more folks promptly left right after him.

We pushed on and finished the mission.....with Masters!

Next I moved to Sunjiang District and found it nearly deserted. A sin invited me onto the team and later a Dervish joined us. I recommended filling in with heroes since there was no one else in town interested in joining. My heroes aren't that great yet, but I added on 2 monks and Koss. the Dervish brought Olias and Zhed.

At this point I mentioned that I'd like masters. The others were only interested in finishing. Once inside I realized we brought a Warrior (me), a sin and a dervish. None of us could really carry the items and fight so we left the urn and took turns carrying the spear.

I've only done the mission a few times, so I didn't really know the way. After killing the initial mob, I asked which way should we go? I got 2 shrugs in return. Oh well, I figured I'd just be nice and finish the mission with them and try again later for masters.

This was a GREAT team. Each mob we reached was dead in seconds and nobody wasted much time hanging around the corpses. It was hack, slash, kill and run to the next mob. We finished in about 12 minutes. Got masters!!!!

Just goes to prove, you can't judge a pug on a first glance basis.

Now, back to the orginal topic......here's #11.
You know you're in a bad pug when......you warp into a mission and the female Elementalist you brought along immediately strips off her armor and says "who cares about a stupid mission. Let's have sex!"

Every now and then she uses Order of Pain and Vampiric Gaze. She uses an Earth Wand with a Protection Icon and casts Conjure Lightning every now and then*

It turned out we lost the battle. Why? Because this idiot Elementalist ran into the base defense so many times, the Luxons with 4 flags, could not outpace the Kurzicks with 3 flags and 3 points every 10 seconds from a suicidal idiot.

happened in ra...so i guess its still a pug...but this warrior started his combo with read the wind then used devestating hammer at which point he switched to a sword and used sever artery/gash at which point he switched to axe and uses axe twist followed by power attack (he switched back to hammer for this (of course))

Seeing a N/E spamming FLARE and FIRESTORM.

And then looking to the Monk for healing to see him casting Empathy.

And then looking to see a touch ranger rushing the boss, reguardless of all the enemy around him, but is spamming Offering of Blood BEFORE the fight had even begun he when he had max energy.

And then realising the tank you are healing is using Frenzy and ALSO the occasional flare.

Yes all of this happened.
Yes it was all the same group.

One time i was doing the wilds mission with a pug. Theres several groups ahead. I ask the ranger to pull (he has a bow thank god) so to pull he runs up there and almost gets killed. I was dumbstruck.

LOL, was it a shortbow? Perhaps it had a cute little suction cup on it instead of real arrows.

Something similiar happened to me in FOW. I asked our ranger to pull the next group and he replied "OMG NOOOB!!!! That's a warrior's job, not a ranger!" He then promptly left because he didn't want to waste his time with "us noobs".

when the only monk in your party only does "heal party" that and actually carrying a capture signet to the garden of sebelkeh.

today i was doing the Garden of Seborhin mission when i kept telling people to get the light so we can kill it but of course nobody listened so i just kept running back. knowing there was no way in hell this group could get masters i just went in with 1 light to kill the main harbringer. needless to say i forgot that i needed 3 to kill it but i kept telling people to fall back and get the light but nobody listened. so basically i had to run back 2 more times to get the light and kill it when everybody in my party was dead. good thing i had whirling defense or else those projectiles would have killed me.

o yes the best one every. when doing garden of sebelkeh and we tell people to run into the center to prevent them from capturing it and yet many of them stay at the path fighting.

These are hilarious. A long time ago my boyfriend was in the middle of one of the near endgame Prophecies missions (I don't remember which one) and one of the team members spontaneously typed a message about needing to do something with his laundry and disappeared for a very long time. They were all going WTF??!!

His mom must have been pissed.
